Systems/Project Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Analyst with a minimum of 10 years commercial experience in systems analysis and project management. If you are a team player who wants to work with some of the latest technologies in the payments industry, you could be the person that we’re looking for. You should show evidence of structured and RAD approaches to the analysis and management of large and complex systems within small teams.

The role requires an analytical problem solver, who provides quality solutions both independently and as a team member. The successful applicant will:

have proven experience analyzing and documenting systems in a software development environment using formal analytical and project management methodologies and tools.

have excellent written and communication skills for interacting with all levels of the organization hierarchy, clients and suppliers. The applicant should be confident in writing comprehensive documentation at both technical and non-technical levels.

have experience managing day to day project activities, tracking and reporting through the full software development lifecycle.

learn new skills rapidly, work to deadlines and continually provide quality assurance.

be adaptable, enthusiastic and responsive to change and challenge and work well under pressure.

This is a hands-on systems analysis and project management role working as part of a small team.

Responsibilities will include:

product definition and analysis of technical and business requirements.

communicating product and systems requirements to development, business and technical operations and relationship management teams.

maintaining project documentation, change control process and the production of timely reports

monitoring and communicating project progress, changes and issues with the team.

Key Qualifications/Experience:

Has 10+ years systems analysis and project management experience.

Has a background in software implementation in the financial sector.

Is proactive in their management style and takes a keen interest in the detail of the project and product that is being developed.

Has worked with offshore development suppliers and teams.

Is a team player and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Is highly adaptable and enjoys working in a dynamic environment where change is frequent.

Has strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships easily.

Is prepared to work the hours necessary for the proper performance of the position (BankServ hours are normally longer than 8-5; however, this is balanced by a supportive and friendly team with a strong will to succeed.)

Is goal- and success-driven.

Has experience using formal systems analysis and project management methodologies.

Other Preferred Skills & Experience

Check 21, ACH payment and/or credit card processing knowledge

Experience with check scanning and remote deposit applications
